Energetic and adventurous since young, Leonard was a black belt holder in taekwando and an avid climber, before he found parkour in 2010. He immediately fell in love with the lifestyle and never stop training ever since. After completing his poly studies in 2013, he travelled to 10countries in that year to mingle with the community and gain insights on other practitioners' perspective on Parkour. "What draws me to Parkour is that you have to instill the discipline, to commit both mentally and physically to break a move. That discipline can be applied anywhere, in workplace, studies, and even relationships.

This unique form has been recognised by the University of Science of Sports and Anatomy in Cologne, Germany, as one of the most complete dance workshops offered internationally. Embodied Dance dissolves the boundaries between different forms of dance with the aim of integrating dance cultures to give individuals a unique way of expressing themselves, connecting to feeling through movement and ultimately self-healing.
In addition to dance, Daniel has a strong practice in Yoga, Meditation, Parkour and Nutrition, including certification as a Yoga Instructor (2013 & Nov 2014) and Raw Food Chef (Dec 2014). Daniel has also been practicing Parkour for many years and is now head coach for Parkour Family with us at Superfly Monkey Dragons in Singapore. It is Daniel’s aim to integrate all of these disciplines into a holistic offering to better understand the Body/Mind, as well as a way to spread his message to the world: Live, Love & Dance <3

Derrick Siu
Founder, Coach
Never believing he would ever do parkour, thinking that it was too extreme and bad for his joints based on all the videos he had seen. Derrick had initially dismissed the discipline. Luckily, however he was properly introduced to it by chance in late 2011 through a friend. It was then that he was actually able to experience its true value and power, realising it was not about big jumps and stunts often portrayed in the videos, but more about seeing possibilities, challenging one's own limits, reigniting one's sense of wonder and learning to master one's body, mind and spirit.
It was a beginning of a new journey, and after making a stronger commitment to the craft in mid 2012, he recruited a group of friends to train with. From this group grew what is now the Superfly Monkey Dragons Parkour Freerunning Academy and Agency.
For Derrick, Parkour and Superfly have joined the dots from his past. They bring together his experience in personal development, medicine, media and events and allow him to pursue his passion of helping people and community through what has become one of the fastest growing discplines in the world today.
He plans to continue to share his passion and inspire people to discover and live their potential through movement!
